Description: Brooch with magnet attachment in the form of a gold-plated filigree cone, into the opening of which are four differently colored micro-mini roses forming a miniature posy or corsage. The exact colors and disposition of each rose within the cone will vary depending upon seasonal availability and their balance within the design. The real leaves set into the flowers effectively offset their different colors. There is the optional embellishment of either a cameo (as shown) or mini clock face as seen in design RSP4ck (stickpin) plus RBR-MAG8dblch (elaborate brooch).  

Designer's comment:

"Visually, this distinctive design is both beautiful and pretty and a most colorful eye-catcher. It is small and dainty and the overall circumference of the cone adds a dimension of depth totally different to most of the other designs offered which tend to have flat background settings. (See RBR-MAG3trlf). This cone shaped style is designed for a business suit, or formal wear and is typically Victorian. It was introduced as a new design in Spring (2003) and has rapidly and continuously gained in popularity ever since particularly as a gift".

"Practically, it is easy to hold the rim of the setting and so avoid touching or risk damaging the flowers. For technical reasons this design is not suitable for a conventional bar pin with safety catch.
