Description : Pressed flower earrings with stud attachment for pierced ears. The flowers are real, not paintings, pictures or photographs and placed into the settings at actual size. They are not reduced in any way. Pressed and overlaid with a protective jeweler's resin, they are contained in a single round cabochon with a decorative rim for each earring. The setting is silver. The stud is surgical steel. This is a larger version of FE1 elsewhere in this collection.  

 

Designer's comments :

"Visually, these earrings are pretty and feminine and are more obvious than the other smaller round and oval earrings in our range, due to the prominent patterned silver rim, which gives them a slightly larger size overall.  This edge makes a great match for a set with the locket FL5, elsewhere in this collection. As soon as the viewer realises that there are real flowers inside, these earrrings take on a whole new meaning and greater value."

"Practically, due to their light weight, the wearer will hardly be aware she has them on. The resins are protective against wear and the ravages of ultra-violet light upon the colors of the flower petals. The studs are hypo-allergenic and therefore safe for sensitive customers.
